The Business Development Manager will lead and drive business development activities within the UAE Oil & Gas sector, focusing on securing new projects, building strategic client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence across EPC, Midstream, Projects, Maintenance, and Field Services sectors.
Key Responsibilities• Lead end-to-end business development activities within the UAE Oil & Gas sector
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across EPC, maintenance, field services, leak testing, equipment solutions, and project-based contracts
• Manage the complete business development lifecycle including:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
EPC contractors Strategic partners and industry decision-makers• Track upcoming projects, market trends, competitor activities, and commercial opportunities within the UAE Oil & Gas sector
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure competitive and compliant proposals
• Support senior management in implementing market entry and growth strategies within the UAE
• Represent the company at industry meetings, client engagements, and commercial discussions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Additional commercial or technical certifications will be considered an advantage
• Minimum 7–10 years of Business Development experience within the UAE Oil & Gas industry
• Proven experience working with major EPC contractors and Oil & Gas clients
• Demonstrated track record in securing and closing high-value contracts/projects
• Strong understanding of:
• Experience in Midstream, EPC Projects, Maintenance, and Field Services is highly preferred
• Existing relationships and network within the UAE Oil & Gas sector are highly preferred
• Strong business development and commercial acumen
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to build strategic client relationships and influence stakeholders
• Strong understanding of project economics and commercial strategy
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution approach
• Achieve vendor registration and prequalification milestones
• Build a qualified business pipeline within the first 6 months
• Secure major contracts/projects within the targeted timeline
• Establish strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders
• Candidates with strong UAE market presence and established industry relationships will be highly preferred
• Preference will be given to professionals with proven success in business development within EPC and Oil & Gas environments
