The role will involve leading the newly merged teams of Commercial and Supply and managing the gradual integration of said teams into one cohesive Business Development unit responsible for sales and sourcing activities related to North America & Caribbean

Responsible for the commercial development of the North America & Caribbean cruise business for assigned clients and commercial relationships/contracting with suppliers.Oversee the preparation of financial and content proposals according to client specifications & deadlines.Achieve competitive rates and attractive margins through client negotiation and effective supplier procurement following group policy and standards.Implement regular Product Development cycles based on market trends and local opportunities, creating compelling Shore Excursions for cruise clientsCommunicate with cruise clients concerning ongoing Requests for Proposal as well as Ad Hoc Quotation requests.Acquire new cruise business by participating in RFPs through farming as well as hunting new clients/opportunities.Working with the Operations teams to ensure alignment between quoted and delivered services and provide support for ad hoc requests quotation.Monitor and track the financial sustainability of the business through tools such as Salesforce as well as strategize on how to increase profitability. Provide support to satellite countries within the same region where and when required.ABOUT YOU:
Bachelor’s degree of Tourism / Business Solid experience in cruise industryComprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and tourism trends in North America & CaribbeanExperience in sales or account management, preferably in the tourism industry Strong commercial mindset with proven negotiation skills and a successful record of closing deals and building strategic partnerships. Excellent communication skills Solid knowledge of digital tools (e.g. tasks managements, Salesforce,)From a workplace to a place to belong.
