About the role
Our Nocolok team, is integrated in the Special Chem GBU and focuses on business development of Nocolok products in collaboration with our Solvay support teams and executive leadership.
As a Business Development Manager, you will promote our products and services to customers, prospects and the industry to support the Nocolok business growth in China. You will get the opportunity to contribute to achieving the sales target and have a positive impact on performance of the business line.
You will be accountable for:
Identify and follow-up opportunities where to implement SOLVAY products on existing productions at customer's (for each case define strategy and planning to replace competitor products), work closely with R&D, Quality, Process, and Production of customers, in order to propose or develop the right product
Lead analysis on production issues at customer's (fluxing, brazing) and support SOLVAY QM to solve claims, organization of trials, sample requests and regular meetings at customer's (acc. to yearly objectives)
Establish and maintain close working relationships with key technical personnel at customer sites.Document and share internally all customer developments related to the heat exchanger business including designs, technical developments and competitive activity. Document customer visits and initiate and complete action items as required.
Maintain close communication and share information with other Solvay employees involved in Technical Service, Business Development and Sales. Establish and maintain working relationships with co-suppliers (eg. aluminum, lubricant, tubes, furnace, machine etc) to the industry in order to keep up to date with related disciplines
Develops and updates NOCOLOK training documentation. Provides NOCOLOK training to all new and existing Customer Service, Supply Chain and Quality Management personnel. Assemble and present Training Seminars on Controlled Atmosphere Brazing Principles, attend relevant conferences and seminars.

About you
Relevant education Bachelor’s Degree or above in Material Science, Welding or Mechanical Engineering
Relevant work experience in At least seven years minimum experience and a high level of knowledge related to automotive heat exchanger manufacturing processes, aluminum brazing, materials, and automotive quality systems.
Competencies:
Basic chemical knowledge
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the China Shanghai base pay reasonably expected for this role is 320,240 - 531,800 CNY, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
