Job Purpose
To drive business development and strategic client relationships in the Insurance and Insurtech sectors within the DACH region. The role focuses on creating and delivering tailored digital transformation solutions by leveraging the company's software engineering capabilities.
Location
Munich, Germany (Hybrid – Office located between Nymphenburg and Olympiapark)
Reporting Line: Business Development Director
Key Responsibilities Generate new leads and business opportunities in the Insurance industry Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders Attend industry events and monitor market trends to inform strategy Utilize platforms like LinkedIn for lead generation and market visibility Identify, qualify, and manage multiple sales opportunities Collaborate on key targeted marketing campaigns with enablement teams Support in drafting compelling, tailored proposals for clients Work autonomously while coordinating with cross-country teams Apply both strategic thinking and tactical execution Key Qualifications & Skill Set
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus) Experience:
Proven experience in business development in the Insurance sector (Traditional & Insurtech) Track record of delivering bespoke or digital transformation solutions Familiarity with nearshoring delivery models and multi-national operations Knowledge of software engineering processes and digital ecosystems Technical Skills:
Understanding of digital solution architecture and transformation projects Comfortable working with CRM/lead generation platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong consultative sales approach Ability to build long-term relationships with stakeholders Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills Strategic and tactical thinker Fluent in German and English (spoken and written) Working Conditions
