Business Development Manager – Cloud Platforms
Location: Ballerup, Denmark (Lautruphøj)
ABOUT THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As the Business Development Manager in Arrow, you will join the Cloud Business Unit located in our offices in Ballerup. You will exercise your role within the Danish market.
Within this position, you will be mainly responsible for the management of the current client accounts as well as the new business development. Your role will involve continuous relationship development between the business area (Cloud), regional teams and the vendors, to ensure a trust and support of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
On the daily basis, you will be:
Working with Arrow Internal Sales teams, to identify the key reseller partners with good potential to develop sales of the vendor’s products and services
Working with the abovementioned partners to ensure they have all the tools necessary to realize their sales potential, namely
Bring new partners to Arrow, by the prospection (phone, email) and client meetings
Execute successful business plans
Build and maintain strong relationships with the vendor
Find New Business leads
Build and maintain strong relationships within the partner's base
Identify new partners, engage and enable accordingly to drive incremental sales
Initiating marketing campaigns for the partners to find new leads
Regular and accurate forecasting of opportunities, providing detail for both short- and long-term deals
Enable partners by providing regular sales training
A FEW THINGS YOU’RE AN EXPERT AT
5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the cloud services
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,) — ability to understand and sell technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and execute structured sales strategies that drive predictable pipeline growth.
Experience in identifying new business opportunities and expanding accounts — comfortable building relationships from the ground up.
Highly organized and process-driven — able to create repeatable systems that support scalable sales growth.
Exceptional communication and consultative selling skills — able to tailor pitches to various business needs.
Self-starter with a growth mindset — thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
Fluency in Danish and English language is a must to be successful in this recruitment
