Business Development Manager (Capital Markets/Investor Relations)
We’re looking for a remote Business Development Manager in the investor relations/capital markets industry.

Our client is a rapidly growing global provider of digital corporate communication solutions, offering modern websites, tools, and technology used by publicly traded companies across multiple markets. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth, expanding market presence, and building strong client relationships across Canada.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, and qualify new clients for digital tools, websites, and related services Build and maintain a strong pipeline, including cold outreach when needed Leverage professional networks to secure meetings with potential clients Identify key decision-makers within client organizations and coordinate introductions Conduct sales presentations, manage the full cycle, and close new business Research and build relationships with prospective clients Participate in pricing discussions and proposal development Coordinate marketing campaigns with the CEO and cross-functional teams Develop and execute social media campaigns to support brand visibility Build and maintain relationships with PR firms and industry partners The Successful Candidate Has: 1–3 years of experience in a commercial or business development role Strong desire and ability to step into a more senior business development position Proven record of success in business development or sales Understanding of web design and web development projects Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills A positive, proactive attitude with a professional and dynamic approach Experience and/or familiarity in the investor relations, capital markets, or press release distribution industries
Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commissions.
