Secure and retain business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
Support the growth of IQVIA’s Real World Evidence (RWE) business in LATAM, with focus on Colombia. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and partnering with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that address client needs. The role operates within the regional RWE business and supports shared growth objectives in the market.
Essential Functions
Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within existing and new customers/accounts.Build relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations.Support the development and execution of account plans and sales plans for target customers.Lead and support sales discussions, client meetings, and presentations.Coordinate with internal scientific, technical, operational, contracts, and proposal teams to support proposal development and solution design.Manage follow-up activities related to proposals and sales opportunities.Maintain visibility within customer organizations and support customer satisfaction through regular communication.Monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure an active and sustainable pipeline.Report sales activities and opportunities in CRM and provide updates to sales leadership as required.Serve as a liaison between the customer and IQVIA technical and operational teams.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, or related discipline.Experience in business development, sales, account management, or related commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, CRO, healthcare, or consulting environment.Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.Strong consultative selling, communication, and presentation skills.Strong business acumen and ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams.Preferred Qualifications
Existing relationships with important pharmaceutical stakeholders in Colombia are a strong advantage.Experience working with scientific studies, evidence generation, or research-related solutions is preferred.Academic or professional background in scientific research is an advantage.Experience selling studies or research-based solutions is a strong differentiator.Experience in CROs, consulting firms, or pharmaceutical companies is preferred.Experience in pharmaceutical industry roles in business development, sales, research, or related areas is a plus.Familiarity with Real World Evidence, observational studies, database studies, or broader evidence-generation solutions is an advantage.IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
