A Bengaluru-based medical device company engaged in the design, manufacturing, and sale of high-quality dental implants is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive growth and expand its market presence.
Role OverviewThe Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales, building strategic partnerships, expanding institutional engagement, and executing marketing initiatives within the assigned territory. The role requires strong relationship management skills and a deep understanding of the dental implant industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive sales to dentists, implantologists, dental institutions, and key accounts
Execute strategic business plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
Manage the complete sales cycle including order taking, fulfilment, and follow-ups
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to grow and retain business
Identify partnership opportunities and develop new business relationships
Engage with dental institutions and training centers to support implant education programs
Act as liaison between customers and internal teams for product feedback and improvements
Compile and analyze financial and sales data for reporting and planning
Maintain and update CRM systems and customer databases
Report sales performance against targets and execute corrective action plans
Plan and execute marketing communications, product launches, exhibitions, and conferences
Identify effective marketing channels and support scientific marketing initiatives
Manage marketing budgets efficiently to maximize ROI
Address customer requirements and provide timely solutions
Travel within the assigned territory as required
Candidate Requirements Experience3–5+ years of experience in pharma/medical device business development or sales
Preferably from the dental implant industry
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and expanding customer base
Experience in negotiating and closing deals
Skills & CompetenciesStrong business acumen and strategic planning ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English and Kannada (mandatory); additional South Indian language is a plus
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with digital marketing channels is an advantage
Exposure to ISO 13485 is a plus
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and proactive
EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Medical field
