Business Development Manager
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive the growth of AI PC products within the Consumer and Small & Medium Business (SMB) segments. This role focuses on executing strategic marketing initiatives, building partnerships, and managing programmes that enhance sales performance and customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Market Development
Develop and implement strategies to increase AI PC product adoption among Consumer & SMB customers.
Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
Execute 4P Marketing Plans
Partner with HP Store traffic teams, HP MML Marketing & PR, and Partner marketing teams to maximise campaign impact.
Collaborate with country teams to deliver comprehensive 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) marketing plans.
Ensure alignment with global and regional objectives while tailoring strategies for local market needs.
Market Analysis & Insights
Analyse market landscape to ensure HP Store remains competitive, including versus HP in retail and versus our competitors.
Understand market sizing, product configurations, price points, and channel performance. Identify what is working and why.
Provide actionable insights to inform product positioning and promotional strategies.
Partnership Development
Establish and nurture affiliate partnerships within the SMB ecosystem to expand reach and influence.
Negotiate and manage agreements that drive mutual growth and value.
Programme Management
Oversee Partner-funded headcount in contact centres, ensuring governance and performance of Sales Representatives.
Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives for programme effectiveness.
Loyalty Programme Enhancement
Develop a roadmap of propositions and enhancements for the HP Store loyalty programme – HP Advantage for Business.
Drive engagement and retention through innovative offers and benefits tailored to SMB customers.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in business development or sales within the technology sector
Strong understanding of marketing principles, including 4P execution.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and trends.
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Programme management experience, including governance and performance tracking.
Familiarity with loyalty programmes and customer engagement strategies.
