Business Development Manager - PDS
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives within JLL's Projects and Development Services (PDS) division. This role focuses on expanding our project management, development consulting, and advisory services across diverse real estate sectors while building strategic client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & GrowthIdentify and pursue new business opportunities for PDS services including project management, development consulting, and advisory services
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and projects
Create compelling proposals and presentations for new business pitches
Lead RFP responses and client presentations for major project opportunities
Client Relationship ManagementCultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at corporations, developers, institutional investors, and public sector clients
Serve as trusted advisor on complex real estate development and project management needs
Manage existing client relationships to identify expansion opportunities and additional service lines
Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure seamless client experience and project success
Market Intelligence & StrategyMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and client needs
Analyze project pipeline data and market conditions to inform strategic decisions
Develop go-to-market strategies for new service offerings and geographic markets
Service Line DevelopmentCollaborate with PDS leadership to enhance and expand service offerings
Identify opportunities for innovative project delivery methods and technologies
Support development of new service capabilities based on market demand
Contribute to thought leadership and marketing initiatives
Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with other JLL business lines (Capital Markets, Leasing, Property Management) for integrated client solutions
Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met
Coordinate with marketing teams on proposal development and client communications
Support knowledge sharing across regional PDS teams
Required QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, project management, development, or business development
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client relationships
Experience with complex real estate projects across multiple asset classes
Technical ExpertiseDeep understanding of project management methodologies and development processes
Knowledge of construction, design, and real estate development lifecycle
Familiarity with project delivery methods (Design-Build, CM at Risk, IPD, etc.)
Understanding of real estate finance and investment analysis
Core CompetenciesExceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to build relationships with C-level executives
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Results-driven mindset with focus on revenue generation and client satisfaction
Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree (MBA, Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field)
Professional certifications (PMP, CCIM, CRE, LEED AP)
Experience with international or large-scale development projects
Established network within the commercial real estate industry
Background in consulting or professional services environment
Multilingual capabilities for global client relationships
