Job Title: Business Development Manager – EMS Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Reporting: Head of Marketing

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager – EMS will be responsible for driving growth in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) business by establishing and nurturing relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 customers, and design partners. The role involves expanding the customer base within electronics domains, converting projects from RFQs to POs, and achieving defined revenue and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve EMS business sales and revenue targets. Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier-1s, and design partners. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Drive the conversion of RFQs to POs through effective proposal management and negotiation. Enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships to ensure repeat business. Introduce new technologies such as controllers, sensor PCBs, and EV-related electronics. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) for project execution.

Key Deliverables:

New Customer Acquisition: Number of OEMs, Tier-1s, and design partners added. RFQ to PO Conversion Rate. Customer Satisfaction Index (NPS). New Technology Introductions: Controllers, sensor PCBs, EV-related products, etc.

Required Skills:

Strong customer networking and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Commercial negotiation expertise. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. Strategic thinking with a strong results orientation.

Educational Qualification:

B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation. MBA (preferred).
