Overview
SBM Management is searching for an experienced Business Development Manager! The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating and developing relationships with new clients and successfully maintaining relationships with current clients. The Business Development Manager will also have the opportunity to establish and improve internal sales processes and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will need to be a creative, hard-working, entrepreneurial individual who has the ability to think expansively and work independently while having the support of your peers.
Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leadsSource and develop client referralsDevelop sales presentations and proposalsMonitor competitors, market conditions, and product developmentPrepare sales action plans and conduct direct marketing activitiesMake sales calls to new and existing clientsMaintain sales activity records and reportsFollow up on all sales activity to ensure compliance with contract specificationsPerform quality checks on service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and strong client relationships Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for managementRegional travel (up to 30%) may be requiredQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required Sales experience with Facilities or Janitorial services is preferred, but other related industry sales experience will be consideredExperience with enterprise software solutions Solid experience in developing customer relationships and delivering sales presentations Proven ability to achieve sales targets, create prospect lists and secure RFPs Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements Proven leadership and customer service skillsCompensation: $7K-$10K/ month SBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are proud to be equal-opportunity workplaces.
