About Your Role:
You will lead the growth of Thales’ Simulation, Training, and Avionics products across the defence and civil sectors in Australia and New Zealand. In this dynamic role, you will engage with defence customers across the Navy, Army, and Air Force, as well as civil aviation stakeholders, to strengthen Thales’ market presence in the region.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, you are accountable for:
Drive Growth
Market and Opportunity Analysis
Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities in the defence and civil aviation sectors.Develop and implement strategic business development plans to qualify and pursue leads.Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
Build and nurture relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders to qualify and secure opportunities.Act as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring a clear understanding of their technical and operational requirements.Business Development Management
Maintain and update the business development forecast (SITCOM).Utilize and oversee the Group Customer Relationship Management (GCRM) system.Support the development and execution of sales, marketing, and communication plans.Your Experience:
