Bosch Engineering Australia (BEA) is part of the Bosch Mobility division, delivering engineering services and product solutions across mobility sectors. We work closely with internal Mobility Business Units and external customers to provide system architecture, technical offers, and value-added engineering solutions.
Job DescriptionAs part of the Bosch Oceania Sales & Business Development department, you will play an integral role in the growth of BEA engineering services and product sales. This includes identifying new markets, managing customer interfaces, offering technical solutions, and delivering technically sound and commercially compelling proposals. You’ll play a key role in shaping strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding Bosch’s presence in the mobility and technology sectors. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at our Clayton headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
Grow BEA revenue through engineering service and product sales across Australia & New ZealandIdentify and pursue new business fields and market opportunities in line with BEA’s objectivesInterface with customers and internal teams to develop technical solutions, business cases, product distribution models, and offersAssist in setting strategy, actions, and budgets aligned with Bosch Mobility’s Sales & Business Development goalsProvide both technical and commercial proposals to customers and prospectsDefine BEA’s value propositions and positioning for its services/productsDevelop and execute customer engagement plans and technical solutions with key customersCoordinate promotional and marketing activities to raise awareness of BEA’s capabilities and offeringsAttend industry events and maintain relationships with partners, dealers, and stakeholdersQualificationsWe are looking for an innovative thinker who works well in a team environment, is results focused and displays a high level of attention to detail.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
A degree (or double degree) in Engineering, IT, Science, Business, or related field preferredStrong sales / business development experience, especially involving technical or engineering productsExcellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills with both technical and commercial stakeholdersSolid financial and business acumen, ability to build business models and proposalsProficiency in MS Office; familiarity with sales tools and reportingDriver’s license and willingness to travel (interstate and occasionally international)Ability to work outside usual office hours when required; remote collaborationWhat You’ll Gain
