Description Revolutionize Transportation: Lead Amazon's Fleet Innovation Strategy We're seeking a Business Development Leader to transform Amazon's global transportation network by driving partnerships in electric vehicles, autonomous technology, and fleet optimization. Key job responsibilities - Drive end-to-end strategic partnership lifecycle for Global Fleet initiatives with comprehensive financial accountability - Develop multi-year partnership strategies aligned with technical and business objectives - Lead complex negotiations for high-value technology partnerships - Build and mentor a high-performance business development team - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams - Define and track performance metrics for partnership success - Represent Amazon at industry events and maintain critical technology partner relationships A day in the life Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic thinking and collaborative execution. About the team Our Global Fleet team is a collaborative network of innovators dedicated to creating the most advanced, sustainable, and efficient transportation ecosystem. We're committed to solving complex challenges that impact global logistics, working across multiple disciplines to develop mobility solutions that support Amazon's mission of serving customers. Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience - Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent - Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent - Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agencies - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
