Our industry-leading client in Abbotsford is experiencing rapid growth and is looking to expand their team with a skilled Business Development/Estimation Representative (Construction). This key role will drive business development, manage major projects, and act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams.
Business Development/Estimation Representative Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and referral business. Lead end-to-end project management — from pre-bid planning, estimation, and proposal development to execution — supported by a dedicated operations team. Collaborate with internal project teams to ensure project goals and client expectations are consistently met. Analyze project specifications to define scope, schedule, budget, and execution strategies. Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Generate new business through networking and industry engagement. Manage trades and subcontractors throughout project execution. What You Bring: Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience, ideally in engineering, construction, or a technical field. Experience as an Estimator or Project Manager (PMP Certification not required). Strong relationship-building and communication skills. A self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent time management. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong organizational skills. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary: $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience. Consideration for higher compensation for candidates with advanced experience. Monthly car allowance with additional gas card. Comprehensive benefits package. RRSP matching (up to 5% of base salary) after 3 months. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
