General Summary:
This leadership role directs the DoD Sales strategy for Qualcomm, focusing on establishing and nurturing direct relationships with the US Government and ecosystem partners to leverage Qualcomm technologies in DoD applications. The role will heavily focus on establishing new technology research and development and transitioning technologies to USG Programs of Record. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the DoD mission set and acquisition process combined with technical knowledge of Qualcomm and the wireless industry.
Responsibilities:
Leverage a deep understanding of DoD strategic objectives, mission needs, use cases, and challenges; identify opportunities for Qualcomm technology integration into the DoD ecosystem.Establish DoD use cases and POR requirements lists for use by QGov Product Management product definitions.Assemble and lead team to address DoD solicitationsDefine and manage the DoD sales strategy in alignment with QGov and Qualcomm strategic goals.Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship (required).Bachelor's degree (Engineering or Computer Science preferred).Active Security Clearance.15+ years of experience in DoD, other government organizations, or related businesses.Strong knowledge of DoD and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) organizations, programs, and operations.Experience leading discussions and interfacing at senior levels in DoD/DIB.Demonstrated strategic thinking leveraging DoD/DIB connections.5+ years of experience in wireless technology.Experience leading a business or product management team to market products/services.Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success in methodically executing strategic objectives.Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex business problems, develop comprehensive analysis and present findings clearly to executives.10+ years of experience leading/managing people and working in matrix environments.Technical understanding of wireless communications to discuss strategies and approaches.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$198,400.00 - $297,600.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
