Position Summary The Business Development Director, Payer Sales will serve as a senior leader responsible for both solution design and the successful closing of new client contracts for Cedar Gate Technologies, an IQVIA business. A primary measure of success will be achieving business development targets and generating sustainable revenue growth. This role will lead the development of new business opportunities and strategic relationships, support the expansion of existing client accounts, and actively promote Cedar Gate products, services, and capabilities across the organization. In addition, this Sales Director will collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues at all levels to define, develop, and deliver innovative solutions that meet market needs and drive long-term value. Roles & Responsibilities + Increase customer base and add to existing customer profitability. + Identify, design, develop, and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission. + Identify potential strategic partners, alliances, and relationships to expand core product lines or bring new product lines to the organization. + Promote a customer-oriented focus and advocate consultative customer relationships. + Develop and maintain high-profile external relationships with customer constituents, professional organizations, etc. (public relations presence). + Act as primary contact for internal and external constituents. Job Location United States – Remote Work Arrangement U.S. residents only; work must be performed within the United States. Experience / Qualifications + 15-plus years of healthcare provider experience with a minimum of 10 years in leadership roles. + Experience with Value-Based Care, Bundled Payments, etc. + Senior-level knowledge of and experience in provider and payer healthcare market segments. + Thrive in a fast-paced, lean, demanding, customer-driven product organization. + Track record of driving strategic sales and consistently achieving results with challenging, longer sales cycles as a dedicated individual contributor. + Possess strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize and analyze data to identify trends and marketing opportunities. + Proven and verifiable history of increasing revenues to meet benchmarks and company goals. + Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field, MBA preferred. + Demonstrated track record of building a business. + Strong communication and negotiation skills at all levels. + Ability to establish a strong communication link and credibility with all teams through the highest level of professionalism, ethics, integrity, mutual respect, and value-added approach. + Bright, quick, articulate, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, and able to adapt to different internal and external constituencies. + Viewed as a team player who also possesses the independence of thought and opinion to provide candor and honesty when making key business decisions. + Proven influence as a sales/business development executive within complex professional products and services organizations. + Be a self-starter who can simultaneously manage multiple internal and external initiatives. + Strategic thinker who also grasps the details. + Passionate about business results, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics, and ownership. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Strong organization and prioritization skills. + Travel as much as required to be successful, estimated up to 30%. + To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
