Key job responsibilities
1. Existing Merchant Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction
Anticipate and address client needs proactively
2. Account Strategy and Growth:
Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth
Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities for Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS)
Set and achieve goals for assigned accounts
Monitor and analyse account performance metrics
3. Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve merchant issues promptly and effectively
Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions for complex merchant problems
Manage and mitigate risks associated with merchant accounts
4. Business Reviews and Reporting:
Conduct regular business reviews with key merchants
Prepare and present performance reports and analytics
Provide insights and recommendations based on account data
5. Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, product, operations and support teams
Communicate merchant feedback to relevant internal stakeholders
6. Contract Management:
Negotiate contract terms and renewals
Ensure timely processing of contracts and amendments
Monitor contract compliance and expirations
7. New Business Development:
Identify potential new business opportunities within existing accounts
Assist in the onboarding of new clients or accounts as needed
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in business development or partnership management
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software like salesforce
- Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
