Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities
Business Controller is a strategic finance role responsible for developing comprehensive financial plans, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and providing data-driven insights to support executive decision-making and drive business growth. To extend the business, we want to add resources to the team with the job description below:
Key Responsibilities:
Control business performance through projects, ensure projects/ Reporting lines P&L are recorded appropriately. Perform comprehensive financial analysis on business performance Prepare budget/ forecast in collaboration with department heads. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements Perform regular financial reports for the regional/head office. Coordinate with the accounting team to perform monthly closing activities, monitor actual results versus budget and forecast Generate executive dashboards and management reports Communicate financial insights to senior leadership and stakeholders, identify root causes of variance and propose improvement. Control invoicing and collection plans Automate routine reporting and analysis tasks. Review and coordinate with stakeholders for financial process improvement Other ad hoc tasks assigned by FC/ RFC
Job Qualifications
Bachelor of Finance & Accounting, pursuing other professional certification (CMA, ACCA, CPA…) is a plus Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting/ finance field Leadership and stakeholders’ management capabilities Attention to detail and high accuracy standards Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and BI software Business acumen and strategic thinking Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics
