Business Continuity Planner

Seeking a Business Continuity Manager with hands-on experience in OSFI E-21 and Operational Resilience. This role supports the development, execution, and maintenance of the organization’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) and operational resilience program, ensuring critical services can withstand and recover from disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain and enhance BCM frameworks, policies, and playbooks.
+ Lead Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), including critical process mapping and dependency identification.
+ Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Crisis/Incident Response documentation.
+ Facilitate continuity testing (tabletops, simulations, call trees) and document outcomes.
+ Track remediation of BCM issues and action plans.
+ Align business continuity needs with IT disaster recovery (DR) capabilities.
+ Advise stakeholders on recovery strategies and resilience controls.
+ Support third-party resilience activities and vendor assessments.
+ Produce program metrics and reports for management.
+ Assist with audit and regulatory readiness.
Required Qualifications:
+ 3–7 years’ experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Crisis Management, or Operational Risk (financial services preferred).
+ Experience leading BIAs, updating BCPs, and coordinating exercises.
+ Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to create dashboards and reports.
+ Knowledge of OSFI E-21 and related regulatory expectations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
