Business Continuity Advisor

What does a successful Business Continuity Advisor do at Fiserv?

As a Business Continuity Advisor for FIG (Financial Institutions Group) at Fiserv, you will be responsible for developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience of our financial services solutions. In addition to this, you will also lead project management activities, utilize data analytics for decision-making, and create comprehensive reports to support disaster recovery strategies

You will develop, maintain, and enhance disaster recovery and business continuity plans for FIG products and services as well as conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities in processes, systems, and infrastructure.

In addition you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish recovery strategies aligned with business needs and support project management efforts related to disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring timely completion and delivery of projects.

What you will do:

Utilize data analytics to assess recovery capabilities, identify trends, and optimize disaster recovery plansTest and validate disaster recovery plans to ensure effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.Create detailed reports on disaster recovery metrics, key performance indicators, and recovery progressMaintain documentation of recovery procedures, policies, and control mechanismsProvide support during crisis situations, including activating recovery procedures and coordinating recovery effortsTrain staff on disaster recovery protocols and ensure organizational readiness for emergenciesMonitor industry trends and best practices in disaster recovery and integrate new methodologies as neededParticipate in audits, reviews, and assessments related to disaster recovery and business continuity

What you will need to have:

6+ years of experience in disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing6+ years of experience in a similar role in the risk & control space2+ years of experience in data analytics tools to analyze recovery data and drive decision-making2+ years of experience in reporting to create comprehensive reports on recovery metrics and progress2+ years of Project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives and cross-functional teamsBachelor’s degree in IT, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience

What would be great to have:

Certification in Disaster Recovery (e.g., CBCP, ABCP, DRCE) is preferredKnowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to disaster recovery

Salary Range

$87,000.00 - $146,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
