Job Summary:\rThe Business Architect is a key member of the Enterprise Architecture team. The Business Architect provides technical consultation and recommendations for business process design, development design/architecture, frameworks, and/or interfaces during the design and ongoing care of solutions. This role is embedded with business stakeholders to understand their needs, determine process and business pain points, help identify potential solutions, and translate business needs to technical plans. This role is critical in the change management process of vetting and rolling out potential business solutions. The Architect will interface with product management, project management, quality assurance, and various stakeholders across the enterprise to define and deliver technical solutions as well as assist with defining business cases and project business impact from technical projects.\rCore Responsibilities and Essential Functions:\rCollaborate with process architects, technical architects, project managers, and business to build solutions that solve customer problems and deliver business value\rLead joint design sessions to define requirements and validate implementation directly with business users. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Contribute to the definition of business cases and project business impact.\rDirectly contribute to solution development in the areas of process definition, workflow automation, business logic, and user interfaces\rFacilitate delivery of solutions incorporating process execution, decision and exception management across multiple organizational roles and systems/applications\rAnalyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.\rPerforms other duties as assigned\rComplies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.\rRequired Minimum Education:Bachelors Computer Science or Bachelors Business Administration/Management or Masters Business Administration/Management-Preferred\rRequired Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):\rAll certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.\rAdditional License(s) and Certification(s):\rRequired Minimum Experience:\rMinimum 5 years in business architecture, business process management, or strategic management role Required\rMinimum 3 years in technical roles such as software engineering, solution architecture, application automation, server hardware maintenance, or network administration Required\rMinimum 2 years in a leadership role Required\rExperience with business architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, BIZBOK, or Zachman. Required\rProven experience working cross-functionally with teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders to achieve business goals. Required\rExperience in healthcare industry Preferred\rCertification in TOGAF, CBAP, or other relevant business architecture certifications. Preferred\rFamiliarity with Agile methodologies or similar frameworks. Preferred\rFamiliarity of navigating healthcare value streams in the context of business architecture solutions and patterns. Preferred\rRequired Minimum Skills:\rProficiency with software development in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript (or other comparable languages) High\rExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. High\rAbility to understand complex business problems and design solutions that drive strategic change. High\rKnowledge of how business processes and technology align, with experience in supporting digital transformation.
