In this rapidly evolving world, Leidos is always looking for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences.  We’re seeking experienced software development professionals who can bring creative ideas to rapidly solve challenging problems. The ability to be adaptable, inquisitive, collaborative, and work with a sense of urgency in a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial. 

You will work as an integral part of an Agile/ DevSecOps team – a highly productive, collaborative team that thrives on supporting the customer's mission and growth objectives through innovation and AI-enabled agile software development. You will work in close collaboration with team members, customers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions for protecting public health.

We are seeking to fill the following roles, contingent upon contract award.

Business Analysts

Technical Writers

Minimum qualifications will vary by level.

At minimum all candidates MUST:

Be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

Be local to the DC metro area for hybrid/onsite work

Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of related experience

Total experience required will vary by level

Experience with Agile software development projects using Atlassian tools is required:

Key Responsibilities (Business Analyst):

Discovery, analysis and documentation of key business processes, their architectural components, and dependencies. Lead reviews and define target business/operating models and their components.Ability to communicate with senior leadership (internal or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project.Elicit, analyze, define and document business requirements from business stakeholders through mockups, functional prototypes.Evaluate, analyze and support business change impacts.Undertake refactoring and reimagine large and complex business process and data analytical activities to define optimized target state processes and data interactions through journey maps.Act as or work closely with the Product Owner to understand the business drivers and desired outcomes, and ensure proposed solutions and prototypes are produced in line with these.Help to translate the requirements into implementable user stories for the development team.Support User Acceptance Testing activities, by helping to define test scenarios and assisting management of testing and trainingDrive continuous improvement initiatives by tracking agile performance metrics, infusing best practices and takeaways from stakeholder feedback, lessons learned from sprint retrospectives.

Key Responsibilities (Technical Writer):

Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical artifacts. Must have the ability to understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents.Work on all phases of documentation (draft to final delivery), ensure the layout and design is compliant with published guideline and accessibility standards (Section 508).Ensure all program deliverables are checked for formatting and readability.Communicate deliverable status and metrics to program leadership.Interact with engineering and functional leads to understand deliverable requirements and expectations.

Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
