What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support our Data Platform program, driving requirements gathering, data analysis, and solution design. The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and analytics capabilities.

Location: 100% Remote for candidates based in Spain.

 

Mandatory skills:

6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data-driven projects. Strong understanding of data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes. Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern data tools. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data platform initiatives. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements. Work closely with data engineers, architects, and developers to design scalable data solutions. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions with stakeholders. Support data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives. Define use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria. Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and testing activities in Agile environments. Ensure alignment of delivered solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Desirable requirements

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Understanding of BI & analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Exposure to AI/ML data initiatives.
