Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining platforms that centrally manage reference data and make it available to business users and processes. The goal is to place data at the core of the organization and its information system.
The mission involves working on platforms that:
connect to the company's information systems
ensure data security and quality management
offer advanced services for data usage
The work is conducted in Agile mode, with the platforms already in production and continuously evolving through new deliveries.
Responsibilities
The role is part of a product squad with a focus on proximity to business, agility, and quality in service delivery, combining both business and IT expertise.
The challenge is to maintain the product and enrich it with new features that align with strategic data priorities, business needs, and IT guiding principles.
The Business Analyst supports business stakeholders in framing their needs and delivering associated usage projects, ensuring compliance with commitments on schedule, budget, scope, and quality.
In an agile product environment (build/run), delivery is carried out through successive releases of solution components associated with prioritized data perimeters and use cases.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Main Tasks
. Collect, analyze, and validate business needs through workshops in collaboration with the Product Owner
. Write requirements and user stories
. Participate in product design (screen models, user paths, data mappings, etc.)
. Contribute to defining the functional solution of the platform
. Collaborate closely with IT teams (developers, service center, test center) and the project manager to ensure alignment between business needs and IT implementation
. Contribute to testing activities (strategy, test cases, test campaigns, anomaly analysis)
. Draft operating procedures and user guides
. Actively participate in agile rituals (sprint planning, grooming, sprint review, daily meetings)
. Support project management tasks (planning follow-up, budget monitoring, progress reporting, risk/alert management)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Technical Skills
. Solid knowledge of data-related business (mandatory)
. Agile experience
. Previous exposure to complex corporate environments is a plus
. Strong written and oral communication skills (clarity, synthesis, pedagogy) with excellent team spirit
. Proven analytical and organizational skills
. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into IT requirements
Language Skills
. French (C1)
. English (B2)
Soft Skills
. Proactivity, pragmatism, curiosity, and autonomy
. Strong team spirit and interpersonal skills
 
Must be physically in Portugal, and a work at the office 3/5 days a week in Lisbon or Porto.
