The Sales Forecasting Sr. Analyst is the champion for our Demand Planner end users that utilize our Sales Forecasting system solution. This role provides specialized support around our systems and processes acting as a subject matter expert to our Demand Planners. Answers forecasting system related questions and logs issue tickets on their behalf as necessary. Works with our software vendor and IT to troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by our end users. Supports Demand Planners with system mass maintenance uploads and ad hoc reporting.
Drives continuous improvements by leading the development of User Interface (UI) enhancements for our forecast system with our software vendor and developing new tools. Works with Demand Planners to understand their pain points, areas of opportunity, and prioritize our UI enhancement backlog and roadmap. Develops, updates, and delivers sales forecasting training on our system solution, best practices, standard operating procedures, and supporting tools. Routinely shares out new or enhanced system related updates from new releases.
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to provide recommendations to improve metrics that align with company’s objectives. Monitors and executes strategic initiatives that support forecasting, in-stock improvements, inventory reduction, and other areas of continuous improvement. Ability to independently determine approach and actions necessary for new or special projects.
Job Responsibilities :Responsible for collecting, summarizing data and providing analysis that will assist Pharmacy & Retail Operations management in both long- and short-range strategic planning, and the development and implementation of programsMaintains a comprehensive understanding of business processes and practices pertaining to all aspects of Pharmacy & Retail Operations within the Retail Hub.Provides more complex analysis of corresponding data to build business case for system and operational procedure changes, enhancements, development of functional specifications or interface opportunities with costs and or return on investment summarized.Serves as operation point of contact for various projects to drive project execution. Communicates relevant project information to stakeholders, both corporately and in the field.Collects, analyzes, makes specific recommendations, and presents information pertaining to proposed programs to meet the business and strategic goals of Pharmacy & Retail Operations and the Company. Manages complex ad-hoc projects and analyses, as needed.Plans, designs and deploys appropriate reports and tools.Collaborates across Pharmacy & Retail Operations, IT, legal and regulatory, process improvement teams, and others, to develop operational solutions.Coaches, mentors, guides, and provides oversight to less senior Business Analysts.About Walgreens
