Job Description As our client partners to promote renewable energy sources with homeowners who are going solar or using electric cars, customers need to submit an application to our client for the energy they are creating to be stored to the electric grid. Our team is responsible for the processing of these applications for home and small business owners. Our team is looking for an advanced Business Analyst to assist with better understanding trends and correlations to improve our ability to forecast anticipated volumes and strategize team resourcing. Duties include but aren't limited to: * Input and maintain project data of internal databases * Compile project data into weekly business reports * Create metrics and analyze for tendencies * Perform basic calculations if necessary * Create presentations that communicate performance and status * Work in a team atmosphere to obtain data if necessary * Provide support to team with data analysis when necessary * Provide program management support and coordination * Work with specific teams to gather data and ensure correctness * Perform administrative tasks for office as needed for meetings, reviews etc. We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements * Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to convey complex information to internal stakeholders and demonstrate flexibility when incorporating feedback. * Ability to perform and produce time-sensitive results under often ambiguous conditions. * Ability to work independently and balance engagements with multiple internal partners under minimal supervision. * Competent in generating pivot tables and pivot charts * Knowledgeable of creating reports * Undergraduate Degree * Researching background * understanding, experience or knowledge of PG&E, utility or similar * Undergraduate degree in engineering (electrical, civil or mechanical)
