The intern will be part of the HP Large Format Printing Strategic Planning team within HP Large Format Printing Global Business Unit organization. This team supports HP Large Format Printing business directors on any business planning-related activity such as long-term forecasting, current business analysis, business case support and big data analysis. The team estimates market evolution, forecasts future printer sales and revenue worldwide, facilitates business diagnostic, and documents the business plan. To perform this task, the team analyzes continually market data, HP and competition sales performance, detects market trends and models future behavior of the market. This department interacts with product management teams, with large-format printing leadership team and with corporate teams for market analysis and planning and customer and market insights.
Responsibilities
Supports data and business analyses to develop business plans.Supports the development of statistical and financial models for forecasting and reporting.Measures business performance and compares actual data to forecasted values.Executes market research projects and gathers intelligence on current industry, technology, and consumer trends.Works with cross-functional teams to support the data collection process.Supports the execution of priority projects with directionSupports the implementation of tools for internal productivity of the team: industry data capture automation; AI automation; programming of queries and macros to capture and organize information; report automationEducation and Experience Required
Entering last year of Bachelor's or Master's degree studying Business Science, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering. No work experience required.
Knowledge and Skills
Basic knowledge of research methodology.Demonstrated analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques.Demonstrated knowledge of Excel.
