Job Title: Business Analyst III

Job Description

The main function of a Business Analyst is to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formation, or other managerial functions. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data and developing decision support software.

Responsibilities

Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives and their numerical parameters.Analyze information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems.Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary.Define data requirements and gather and validate information, applying judgment and statistical tests.Assist the Manager in managing the PCI Program.Plan, execute, and oversee remediation and risk mitigation.Create dashboards for Technology Compliance programs.Maintain the scope of IT assets, controls, control owners, risks, etc. that make up the compliance programs.Consult on PCI requirement clarifications needed by stakeholders.Assist in the annual PCI assessment by working with stakeholders, reviewing evidence, and uploading for QSA review.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, statistics, mathematics, or related field.5-7 years of experience in operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, or data modeling.Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.Intermediate Excel skills including proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP and SUMIF functions, and creating charts and graphs.Experience with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.Open to learning.IT Security Compliance knowledge.ITGC Controls.Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).Audit or Compliance experience in the Retail, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or distribution industry.Direct experience in PCI DSS, Archer compliance management, and Tripwire.

Work Environment

Training will be conducted for 3 days on-site, and once converted, candidates must agree to work 4 days on-site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Deerfield, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.28 - $41.42/hr.
