Your Mission:
The primary goal of the Product Owner is to represent the customer to the development team. In this position, you will be responsible for driving and defining the launch of new products, features, and services within Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc. You should have a deep understanding of your product(s) and a solid grasp on data analytics, strategy, software development, and Agile methodologies to deliver a high-quality product to increase company revenue. Additionally, you should be able to partner with internal technical experts, external stakeholders and key commercial service partners to collaborate in the development of product roadmaps and define and execute priorities, outline milestones and deliverables.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Responsible for the voice and vision of your product(s). This includes innovation, development and end-to-end launch of new features through collaboration with the other product teams, internal business partners, internal technical experts and commercial services partners.
Evaluates data, consumer feedback and internal feedback to develop insights and ultimately product features tied to objectives with product end-users (pizza-buying customers, store crew members).
Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, QA and business partners to advise on product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
Develops, owns, and executes product roadmaps with supporting timelines and product benchmarks, champions initiatives that align with cross-functional goals
Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, defines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
Ensures product aligns with company mission and goals
Collaborates with UI/UX team, product scrum team, and product leaders to establish workflows and goals
Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders, the Director of Product Strategy, and technical teams and leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology. Ensure adequate time is included in all planning to support technical quality initiatives.
Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Resolve development and requirement issues where necessary to speed delivery. Ensure developers understand the value of features which are being developed and that they are implementing user stories correctly.
Works with business stakeholders on the go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, training, customer service, and communications have what they need to be successful.
Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
Consolidates data into user stories and necessary product requirements
Provides thought-leadership and innovative ideas for the furthering of the product(s)
Work with technical leads and QA on release planning
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field; master’s preferred
Two years previous experience as a product owner or in a related field
Solid understanding of the software product lifecycle
Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of digital solutions
Understanding of the business implications of core technical decisions; ability to discuss implementation strategy with developers.
In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products and software concepts, and up to date on industry standards and best practices
Experience running an agile board using a tool such as DevOps or Jira.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of software development
Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote
Excellent verbal and written communication skill including the ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and business concepts to developers.
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
