D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for aBusiness Analyst I - JDE. The right candidate will beinvolved in planning and identifying business requirements, workflows and supporting/training end-users in the proper use of JDE applications. This position is responsible for supporting the existing JDE business functions for DR Horton and Forestar, gathering information and helping determine output enhancements for various applications within JDE. The Business Analyst I-JDE works collaboratively within the IT department and business units to define and interpret requirements into function for development to execute.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Respond to JDE support calls for DR Horton/Forestar to resolve end user data issuesResponsible for the timely completion of project tasks and providing feedback to accounting managers, controllers, department managers at all levels, auditors, and end usersEvaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and assist in developing solutionsConduct training for the user community on JDE systems and applications. Participates in configuring the application based on the defined business processesEnsure established audit procedures are followed with respect to user, company, and accounting setupsProvide technical support for daily business operations focusing on Best Practices, system administration and audit-requirementsAssure conformance to DR Horton JDE system architecture, methods, standards practices, and promote their creation and coordination with other teamsCoordinate financial system change requests, and/or JD Edwards patches/bug fixes identified by the usersConduct testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelinesDesignated as a critical member of the JDE Super User Group working which grants full and mostly unrestricted access to all companies, menus and modules, data files and library structuresDrive to continue to learn and grow in the use and application of JD Edwards Home Builder modulesEnsure proper JDE testing of any systemwide changes prior to implementationClearly outline, document, and communicate problems, enhancements and business scenarios that will be used in advancing new and current custom software applicationsIdentify appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate JDE changes; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance within industry standardsExecute test cases and scripts to thoroughly test company software products on multiple projects of varying size and application systems to ensure all objectives are metMaintain JDE documentation and ensure it is currentLog and document bugs, enhancement, and product issuesDraft quality assurance policies, procedures, and knowledge articlesConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtime
