The Mission
We’re looking for a new colleague to join the NFR & Compliance Reporting Circle within COO Risk, Risk Services, as a (Senior) Business Analyst in the Compliance Reporting squad.
In this role, you’ll also be part of the Business Analyst Chapter, where you’ll collaborate with peers from other squads to share best practices, develop your expertise, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our standards and skills.
Your day to day
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and addressing strategic challenges within the squad, often working closely with a diverse group of stakeholders. In collaboration with the Product Owner and other squad members, you’ll help shape the squad’s strategic direction, with a strong focus on automation and delivering value to users. You’ll also ensure that all workflows are fully aligned with ING’s Agile Way of Working, fostering clarity and coordination across the team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements across a variety of Compliance initiatives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders from the Compliance function and Risk Behavior department, developers, fellow business analysts, and data delivery teams.
You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of dashboards using BI tools, ensuring data models effectively address Compliance needs and align with regulatory expectations and procedures. Your responsibilities will also include testing functionalities, validating data, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing feature deployments. Additionally, you’ll support end-users by providing training on dashboard features and reporting tools.
As a Business Analyst, you communicate clearly and bring focus to the squad, with a strong sense of ownership and a results-driven mindset. You’ll serve a global client base, the Compliance community across all ING locations, making close collaboration with key business partners essential to your success.
What you’ll bring to the team
Experience:
3-5 years of professional experience with business and/or data analysisAbility to translate business needs into functional requirements and communicate them effectively in technical termsStrong analytical mindset, with hands-on experience in data visualization and reporting using BI tools (Cognos, PowerBI)You have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. You’re skilled at building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, presenting proposals with confidence, constructively challenging ideas, and fostering alignment to move initiatives forward collaboratively.Compliance risk knowledgePreferred experience with Agile Way of Working (Scrum).Nice to have: experience as product owner, product managerTech stack/ knowledge:
