Business Analyst
**Job Overview** We are looking for a experienced **Business Analyst** to join our team. This position is specifically for a Software Industry. Business Analyst is responsible for serving as a bridge between cross‑functional stakeholders such as Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and Project Managers. In this role, you will analyze product data, gather business and functional requirements, support development activities, and help resolve issues using tools such as SQL, APIs, and Jira to ensure product quality and compliance. **Essential Functions** + Analyze product behavior and data using internal tools, documentation, and Analytics platforms + Research relevant domain sources (e.g., CMS, industry standards, healthcare regulations) to inform requirement definitions and updates + Conduct product analysis using data tools such as Redshift and MySQL + Utilize APIs and analyze application outputs to validate product functionality + Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable functional specifications + Support the full requirements lifecycle, from definition through implementation and validation + Prepare technical documentation, including process flows, system diagrams, and business requirement artifacts + Evaluate the effects of changes or enhancements and monitor their implementation + Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve reported product issues + Assist technical teams by clarifying business logic, reproducing issues, and offering detailed issue reports + Actively participate in triaging tickets, analyzing user feedback, and resolving issues + Use Jira for issue tracking, documentation, and progress reporting throughout the product lifecycle + Use the CGT VBCA application to extract and prepare data for analysis + Build structured Excel output, including data prep tables, staging logic, and final deliverables + Create Excel based visualizations and client ready templates as requested + Support cross functional workflow between US and Nepal analyst teams to ensure consistency and gap resolution + Contribute to improving the end-to-end template build process in collaboration with the Operations Lead and senior analysts **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent) + **1-3 years** of relevant work experience + Proficiency in SQL databases and database querying languages + Strong analytical knowledge/experience + Knowledge of US Healthcare processes and terminologies will be a plus IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
