Job Description Summary

The Business Analyst is a full-service technology resource. The main focus of the team is to support the development and integrity of core business applications, the training efforts of system processes, and increase the efficiency of the user population. Team members need to effectively coordinate with business leadership for application support and troubleshooting issues, the coordination of additional training for users, and special projects to meet department/client needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

DETAILED ACCOUNTABILITIES

Serve as the primary contact for select vendor software and manage the application vendor relationshipSchedule and attend regular vendor update meetingsCoordinate technical assistance between Cushman & Wakefield & the application vendorRecommend process improvement opportunities related to the application  – document current state process and create future state process documentationParticipate in configuration and change management applications and related transaction processing, reporting and analytic systems with which it shares interfaces in compliance with governance guidelines, policies and proceduresCoordinate change management initiatives of upgrades and patches. Develop and implement testing plans, interfacing results with the vendor for a quality releaseDevelop upgrade & training documentation and alert user community of changesDeliver proactive approach with each applications group by function and geographic team with regard to business process re-engineering, internal control objectives, and best practices to address business needs, identify and solve problems, and enhance service levelsMaintain awareness & communicate applications system scheduled events, including: updates, upgrades, modifications, and related testing/approvals, as well as annual disaster recovery testing and the potential impact of those events on the business usersCreate and execute communication plans to improve user adoption and effectivenessDevelop and deliver  training programs and communications to improve user adoption and effectiveness of new and existing featuresPerform regular system monitoring to ensure data integrity  and support internal and external operational auditsWrite, maintain, and support a variety of queries and reports including ad hoc requestsActively solicit feedback and recommendations from the user community to determine an action plan to implement recommendationsAdhere to industry standard legal requirements and security policies and ensure complianceRemain educated and up-to-date with current technologies, solutions, trends and risksAssist with mentoring and/or training of staffPrior experience working with Yardi, MRI, Nexus or Sharepoint a plus

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 72,250.00 - $85,000.00
