Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Commercial Banking Treasury Payment Solutions team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in foreign exchange (FX) and wire payments, with the ability to interpret, analyze, and route payment instructions accurately. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and stakeholder management to support the design, enhancement, and delivery of treasury payment solutions. 🛠 Key Responsibilities Partner with product managers, operations, and technology teams to define business requirements for treasury payment solutions. Analyze and document workflows for wire payments, including reading SWIFT/ISO 20022 messages and ensuring proper routing. Support initiatives related to foreign exchange transactions, including settlement processes, risk management, and compliance requirements. Translate complex business needs into functional specifications for system enhancements and new product development. Collaborate with technology teams to test and validate payment solutions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in FX and wire processing. Conduct gap analysis, identify process improvements, and recommend solutions to optimize treasury payment operations. Provide subject matter expertise on FX markets, wire transfers, and treasury payment systems to stakeholders across the organization. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk policies in all payment and FX-related activities. 🎯 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CTP) preferred. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in commercial banking, treasury, or payment solutions. Strong knowledge of foreign exchange products, settlement processes, and market conventions. Hands-on experience with wire payments (SWIFT MT messages, ISO 20022 formats), including ability to read, interpret, and route payment instructions. Familiarity with treasury systems, payment platforms, and FX trading/settlement applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working across business and technology teams.
