Job Description
Under the guidance of the HR Systems Architect, this position manages and optimizes the College’s HR systems—primarily Workday HCM—to support HR and institutional goals. It ensures a seamless employee experience, troubleshoots issues, implements enhancements, and collaborates across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide Tier II support for Workday HCM issues, acting as an escalation point and resolving problems promptly.
System Maintenance & Updates: Participate in bi-annual Workday releases—testing, troubleshooting, and prioritizing new features.
Routine Operations: Perform tasks such as data uploads (EIB), audits, and process scheduling.
Collaboration: Work with HR, Finance, and IT on enhancements, defects, and new functionality.
System Development: Assist in requirements gathering, design, testing, documentation, and deployment of HCM improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Join design sessions to align solutions with business goals.
Training & Documentation: Create and deliver user training, job aids, manuals, and video guides.
Continuous Learning: Engage in Workday Community forums and stay updated on HR operations to identify process improvements.

Skills and Requirements
Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Experience:
1+ year HRIS experience (business, technical, or systems analyst).
1+ year professional HR experience.
Workday experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
