C.H. Robinson is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. This role requires in-office presence 4-5 days per week.
In this role you will create, maintain, and distribute insight from key performance measures. You will be responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and designing solutions for key customers. Additionally, you will educate internal and external stakeholders to understand trends and interpret results and provide them with actionable insights to enable informed decisions and positive change. You will also be involved in external stakeholder interactions as part of regular business reviews, sales calls, or consultations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Adapt applications, reporting & analysis based on feedback
Update and maintain standard library of reporting & analysis for current and future business application
Using agile processes, take in reviewed work through work management tools
Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Extracts and interprets data at a medium scale to answer ambiguous questions while working directly with personnel across the network
Proactively analyzes topics, identifies, and creates recommendations supported by facts to change behaviors, including specific operational improvements to the team and the business in general
Collaborate with internal analytical teams to develop predictive solutions
Partners with internal departments to better understand drivers of trends and impact of business changes
Collaborates with leadership, develops, and maintains robust platform and lead optimization reporting and analytics
Assist in the development of innovative solutions and insights from data that will allow C.H. Robinson to improve supply chain services
Advocate and build data-fueled products that help our global customers and partners improve business outcomes
Partners with internal departments to better understand drivers of trends and impact of business changes
Collaborates with leadership, develops, and maintains robust platform and lead optimization reporting and analytics
Create, document, and maintain project related plans, process flows, and metrics
Communicate project progress and facilitate project-related meetings to meet deliverables and escalate when needed quickly as necessary
Work closely with Reporting resources to build key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis
Utilizes internal reporting, database querying, and applicable tools, such as Power BI and Tableau to develop processes to track and analyze current focus areas
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial or business analyst capacity
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with data visualization tools, including, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL querying
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
Logistics and supply-chain experience
Positive, collaborative working style
Experience with data/financial analysis for a sales or operations organization
Familiarity with Python, R, or similar programming languages
Effective and flexible communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively present, influence, and consult with multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels
Able to make recommendations, articulate analysis and field questions and/or pushback from key internal and external stakeholders
Experience in developing and communicating business recommendations and insights in an easy-to-understand way, leveraging data to tell a story
Embraces entrepreneurial spirit in work through recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities and challenging the status quo
Organized individual with self and project management disciplines
