The Project & Development Services team offer a full suite of offerings from Project Management, Cost Management, Building Consultancy, MEP Design, Workplace, Interior Design, Programme Management Office (PMO) and Design & Build to our clients.This position will focus on supporting the continued growth of the Project & Development Services (PDS) division. As a key member of the PDS team, the Regional Finance Analyst works with our PDS Regional leaders to drive operational efficiencies and provide support and assistance to the strategic and financial functions of the PDS business.
This is a regional position which provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in evaluating the financial performance of the PDS business operations across Asia Pacific. It also provides the potential for future employment opportunities within the Company.
Job Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain standardized templates for monthly business reviews. Roll out late-month forecast templates monthly to ensure accurate projections.Execute monthly and annual operating plan (AOP) data loading. Troubleshoot problems and resolve any discrepancies.Data extraction and Analysis: Monthly review and analysis of actual reported P&L in comparison to planned.Deep dive into various financial systems to drill down into financial results and transactions where required.Tracking of project profitabilityCollect and consolidate information for project and material pipelines for all countries, report outstanding invoices aged above 90 days and present findings.Prepare ad-hoc presentations, analysis and reports as required by the PDS Regional teamKEY SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
Self-starter with the ability to identify and proactively resolve issuesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAble to work independently and self-motivatedMeticulous, attention to details and diligent in dealing with large set of data.Resourceful and able to complete tasks in a timely mannerQUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Degree in Accountancy or equivalentAt least 2 years of working experience in Big 4 audit firms or other relevant work experience in large multinational companiesHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel, ability to manage huge data set and present them in meaningful financial analysis.Able to communicate well in English and good presentation skillsKnowledge in Hyperion Essbase, as well as Power BI and/or Power Query preferred but not essentialNote: This position description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
