Kforce has a client in Beaverton, OR that is seeking a Business Analyst that enables organizations to maximize cloud technologies while ensuring compliance, security, cost efficiency, and operational excellence. This role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders to align governance strategies with policies, reduce risk, and drive standardization. The Business Analyst develops requirements, supports engineering in delivering governance capabilities, and fosters a culture of compliance and transparency. Responsibilities: * Serve as liaison between the cloud governance team, platform/business owners, ServiceNow, CIS, and other stakeholders to ensure complete, documented requirements * Define and document cloud infrastructure standards/rules with clear compliance detection and measurement criteria * Partner with engineering to design policy-as-code for governance functions including detection, notification, and reporting * Support the Cloud Governing Body with standard/rule documentation, approvals, communication, and lifecycle management * Facilitate exception handling when standards cannot be met * Coordinate with adjacent teams to ensure compliance data integration requirements are met * Analyze dashboards/reports to identify compliance trends, inefficiencies, and risks; Present findings and recommendations to leadership * Create and distribute guidance on governance principles, capabilities, and best practices * Promote accountability, adoption, and continuous improvement in cloud governance
