Summary of This Role
Global Payments is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze processes, and contribute to business architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with a solid understanding of the IT landscape and business processes. Experience with enterprise architecture tools such as Enterprise Architect/Sparx, Abacus or LeanIX is a plus.
The business analyst team will ensure Global Payments fully understand the impacts of change, facilitate business alignment, better identify and reduce redundancies, and deliver actionable insights to leaders that help guide investment decisions.
What Part Will You Play?
Prepare projects at the pre-implementation stage, i.e., analyze business and technological projects for feasibility, gather and analyze business requirements for changes, and develop solution recommendationsCo-create preliminary project plans and cost estimatesRequirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements related to IT systems and processes. Ensure requirements align with business goals and IT strategy.Business Process Analysis: Analyze and map business processes, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement. Provide recommendations for enhancing workflows and optimizing operations.Business Architecture Support: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of business architecture models, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks. Collaborate with architects and other teams to ensure consistency across business and IT systems.Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular communication with business and IT stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.Data and Systems Modeling: Support the creation of data models, system diagrams, and other visual representations to communicate business requirements and process flows to technical teams.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business leaders, to ensure successful implementation of business requirements and process improvements.Documentation: Prepare clear, detailed documentation of business requirements, process models, data flows and solutions, ensuring all stakeholders have a shared understanding of project goals and outcomes.Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in identifying areas for continuous improvement in business analysis practices, processes, and tools.Participate in the development of our EA toolset and related capabilitiesWhat Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience:3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on IT systems and business process analysis.Experience with business requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools such as Enterprise Architect (Sparx), Abacus, LeanIX, or similar platforms is a plus.Understanding of business process modeling, systems analysis, and IT system integration.Skills in modeling IT systems using UML and BPMN notationsSkills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical teams.Good in business process modeling Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Ability to see and understand the big-picture of the IT landscapeEnglish (at least C1) and Polish (at least B2) - both spoken and writtenCertifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar certifications are a plus.
