**Job Summary**
**The Office of the Vice President for University Outreach is currently accepting applications for an Business Administration Analyst I/II.**
**Auburn University’s outreach and engagement mission is to partner with communities, businesses, schools and government to help people meet their educational goals and to improve quality of life all across our state.**
This position conducts analytical studies to support the planning and evaluation of the unit. The successful candidate will assist with evidence-based decision making and monitors to ensure that the quality of data related to the Office of the Vice President for University Outreach.
**Essential Functions**
+ Collect, analyze, and disseminate data to support strategic planning, decision-making, and program evaluation. This includes designing and administering surveys, performing statistical analysis, writing reports, and presenting findings.
+ Conduct analytical studies and benchmarking to identify trends, improve operational efficiency and support cost-saving initiatives.
+ Maintain databases and metrics related to community engagement, partnerships, and program initiatives, as well as develop dashboards and reports to track participation, outcomes and impact.
+ Track performance metrics for grant-funded outreach programs and assist with data requirements and impact documentation for funders.
+ Assist with budget planning and projection reports for outreach programs and prepare financial documents, including vendor vouchers, contracts and other related paperwork.
+ Analyze business transactions to improve efficiency and support compliance.
+ Monitor and ensure the accuracy and quality of data related to the division, as well as provide guidance on data collection and analysis methods to colleagues and leadership.
+ Support the Division with various administrative tasks, such as drafting communications, editing documents and translating complex data into accessible insights for non-technical audiences.
+ Represent the Office of the Vice President for University Outreach in collaborative meetings and on joint projects.

Minimum Qualifications
**Minimum Qualifications**
**Level I:** Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, statistics, information systems or related field.
**Level II:** Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, statistics, information systems or related field plus 2 years in design, analysis, and reporting of data analysis.
Higher-level degrees may be accepted in place of required experience.
