Position Summary

In this role, you’ll get hands-on with some of the biggest tires in the business. Your work will directly support public safety and keep the transit buses ready.

Responsibilities

Mount, balance, rotate, and repair large transit bus tires.

Maintain tire equipment and tools — we count on you to keep things running smoothly.

Load and unload tires and related materials.

Keeping the work area clean and hazard-free — safety is always first.

Participate in team meetings and stay up to date on procedures.

Complete documentation and service logs accurately and on time.

Use personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols.

Tackle other tasks as needed — there’s always something to learn.

Minimum Qualifications

What It Takes

We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty and thrives in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Physical Demands:

Frequent bending, lifting, and moving tires over 50 pounds (and pushing with over 100 lbs. of force).

Exposure to heat in summer, cold in winter, and common cleaning or lubrication chemicals.

Comfortable working with tools and machines in a shop environment.

Path to Progression

Full TIA Certification Pathway Provided: Gain recognized credentials paid for by us. TIA (Tire Industry Association) certification is a formal credentialing program aimed at raising technical standards among tire service professionals.

Earn TIA Level 2 Certification within 2 weeks of hire.

Complete TIA Level 3 Certification within 2 years.
