The selected candidate will be assigned to a department and schedule based on operational needs at the time of hire. Final placement will be determined during the onboarding process. 

2nd Shift: Monday thru Friday, +Weekends as Production Scheduled Requires                                Pay: $21.34 per hour, +$1.00 Shift Differential                                           

Grindroom Laborer (4pm to 2am)

Supplies meat to the Grindroom from the meat receiving coolers via palletjackInspects productGrinds meatRemoves pallets and trash from the GrindroomOperates a metal detector belt and auger

Packroom Laborer(4:30pm to 2:30am)

Performing repetitive tasks associated with the packaging of meat productWork stations include: Inspecting product quality, assembling boxes, filling bags with meat, sealing bags, weighing bags and may have to stack boxes on palletsAssist with the coordination and running of a food processing line

Requirements of the production team member include:

Ability to learn and perform multiple positions (Training will be provided)Work in temperatures 40–50 degrees and 32 degrees in the coolerBeing able to operate an electric pallet jack (In-house training provided)Ability to work in an environment that is fast pacedBeing able to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to do repetitive tasksStanding, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, stepping up and downOperating food processing equipmentFollowing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)Fill in for other plant positions as necessary (Additional pay provided for higher pay grade position)Basic Math skillsPerform any and all duties as assigned by Supervisor
