2nd Shift: 6:00PM - 6:00AM, Monday - 3/2/2 Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.25 to $29.75/hr (based on experience)+$1.00 Shift Differential

The primary role of the facility technician is to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency and maintenance of the Building/Grounds and support equipment. 

Knows and follows HACCP program and principles, USDA guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains tool room equipment regarding plates, knives and blades; performs routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and physical structures, and on the plumbing, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems; Ensures safe and optimum functioning equipment; systems, and processes (65%). Performs set up/tear down of process equipment daily (25%) Facility rounds to inspect and record various repairs needed (5%). Inspects facility safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems to insure compliance is always maintained (5%). Will be required to work with and develop equipment and ideas deemed to be confidential information and/or trade secrets owned by the company.  This person will be required to protect the company's rights in and ownership of those trade secrets and confidential information

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

One-year experience in facility maintenance and repair preferred Familiarity with forklift, skid loaders, and similar equipment a plus Requires basic math, reading, and writing skills, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain a rapid pace for extended periods Self-motivation and team attitude essential Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and have the physical ability to do the following tasks for extended periods of time: standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing up steps and using ladders Able to work in loud and hot and cold environments Willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required Must have a valid driver’s license
