About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Building Validator that will effectively manage the validation of building claims, including indemnity, the scope of works and repair costs. You'll also ensure all contractors comply with the company’s technical, service and compliance standards and relationship management of contractors, internal clients & Insurers.

We are ideally looking for people with an insurance background, however it is not essential.

 

About You

The role will suit candidates who can demonstrate the following: 

Minimum 5 years related work experienceDomestic and commercial buildings scoping backgroundMaster Builders License or similar preferredAbility to scope and estimate cost of repairs to domestic and commercial propertiesProduce good quality reportsManagement of builders and contractors work in progress and performance via an online repair systemExcellent customer service, organisational and communication skillsIT and technologically competentProven technical competency and structured report writing

 

Key Responsibilities

Validation of building claims, including indemnity, the scope of works and repair costsWork within Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and following policy liabilityCompile detailed and accurate scope of work or building repair schedule when requiredManage building suppliers via Contractor Connection systemProduce high quality and accurate written reportsHandle policy holders’ queries and concerns during the course of a claim when requiredAccountable for the recommended settlement outcome/value
