Building Services Engineer

Sodexo is looking for an experienced and driven Building Services Engineer to take the helm at our flagship site in Kinsale, Ireland – a thriving, large-scale campus with 50+ buildings, 1,400+ clients, and over 100 Sodexo team members working alongside specialist contractors.

Your Impact
As our Building Services Engineer, you’ll:
Own site-wide technical performance – delivering excellence in safety, compliance, and operational standards.Supporting a team of 8+ skilled technical staff.Manage key systems including BMS, Maximo, GMARS (or similar).Champion GMP compliance and the highest HSE standards.Drive efficiency with KPI monitoring and continuous improvement projects.Demonstrate attention to documentation and reporting.Build trusted partnerships with our client and key on-site stakeholders.Use CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) to schedule and track maintenance tasks.Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance of building systems.Recommend upgrades like LED lighting or energy-efficient HVAC systems.Monitor energy usage and optimise system performance to reduce costs and environmental impact.Ensure all systems and equipment are compliant with Irish regulations and standards.What You Bring
We’re looking for an engineer who is:
Has proven experience working in technical services in a regulated environment.Experienced in supervising technical teams (2+ years in people management).Skilled in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred).Confident in client-facing roles, with exceptional communication and relationship skills.Strategic yet hands-on – able to collaborate across departments and respond proactively.Demonstrates a good understanding of Asset Management best practice.Why You’ll Love Working with Sodexo
