1. Overall Responsibility

Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations within the residential building.

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of common areas and residential facilities.

2. Staff Management

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff.

Assign daily duties and monitor staff performance.

Maintain staff attendance, discipline, and grooming standards.

3. Cleaning & Maintenance Oversight

Ensure proper cleaning of common areas such as lobbies, corridors, staircases, lifts, basements, clubhouses, and amenities.

Monitor deep cleaning schedules and periodic cleaning activities.

Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upkeep issues.

4. Quality & Hygiene Standards

Implement and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per building policies.

Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of housekeeping areas.

5. Inventory & Material Management

Manage stock of cleaning supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment.

Raise purchase requisitions and control consumption to avoid wastage.

Ensure safe storage and proper usage of housekeeping materials.

6. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

Liaise with outsourced housekeeping agencies or vendors (if applicable).

Monitor vendor performance and service quality.

Ensure compliance with contract terms and SLAs.

7. Resident Interaction

Address housekeeping-related complaints and service requests from residents.

Ensure timely resolution and maintain resident satisfaction.

Communicate politely and professionally with residents and management.

8. Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety procedures and statutory regulations.

Train staff on fire safety, emergency response, and first aid basics.

Report hazards, incidents, or accidents to management promptly.

9. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily logs, attendance records, inspection reports, and checklists.

Submit regular reports to the Facility Manager / Society Management.

Track KPIs and service performance metrics.

10. Budget & Cost Control

Assist in preparing housekeeping budgets.

Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

11. Special Duties

Manage housekeeping arrangements during events, festivals, or emergencies.

Support management during inspections or audits.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
