**Job Title: Building Engineer** **Job Description**
The Building Engineer will be responsible for completing work orders and troubleshooting/repairing various systems throughout the campus in South Austin. The ideal candidate will be versatile and willing to assist in multiple areas and trades such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform general interior maintenance including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems.
+ Conduct special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, and handling tenant service requests.
+ Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
+ Assist the operations team with maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
+ Perform minor plumbing repairs.
+ Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
+ Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts.
+ Ensure good housekeeping and maintain safety in work areas.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of facility maintenance experience, with a preference for commercial settings.
+ Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
+ Proficiency in general computer skills and familiarity with email, Internet, and Microsoft Word.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ OSHA & EPA Certifications are preferred.

**Work Environment**
Work at the well-maintained campus in South Austin, where you will be exposed to high-tech equipment and systems. The role includes an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, between 6 am and 6 pm, with occasional Saturday work as needed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
