What this job involves

– Facility Operations
• Assist in the implementation of the site's comprehensive energy management plan.
• Monitor preventive and planned maintenance programs to minimize maintenance, repair and replacement costs.
•Ensure that the team is in close contact with regional operating procedures to ensure service standards are maintained.
•Implement, comply with and audit all internal management systems to ensure management quality.
• Assist management team in coordinating customer churn and other relocation activities.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, including security systems, HVAC, fire equipment, furniture and office carpeting, etc. Responsible for developing an annual planned preventive maintenance program and ensuring that the program is implemented and maintenance services are performed in a manner consistent with company and client policies.
• Supervise and coordinate all on-site repairs, perform routine hard service operations, repairs, general procurement for installations, and supervise the safe and timely completion of such work.
• Responsible for and/or assist the management team in implementing a comprehensive energy management program when required.
 
- Risk Management
• Assist in implementing and managing a property risk management program that identifies key property risks including occupational health and safety, fire safety and essential services, and the environment.
• Ensure key operations and sites are identified throughout the region.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Follow established escalation procedures and incident reporting procedures.
 
– Customer Service/Customer Relations
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure that feedback from customer sessions is documented and acted upon to keep end users happy.
•Proactively manage customer expectations to ensure service levels are maintained.
• lead by example
 
- Report
•Assist in the budgeting process as needed
• Prepare monthly reports for client review;
• Provide comments on monthly reports to clients as required
• Actively participate in monitoring and achieving required KPIs

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

- 3+ years experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related field

- Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements

- Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services

- Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts

- Strong Problem solving skill
